1.Q:What is mosaic? |
| A: "Mosaic" is stemmed from Europe with the original
intention
of “a picture or decorative design made |
| by setting small colored pieces , as of stone or tile, into a surface?

| 2.Q:Why use mosaic ? |
| A: Mosaic is mainly used for wall surface or floor decoration. Being small in unit area for single sheet with |
| numerous color and versatility,it has inexhaustible assembling methods to incisively and vividly express |
| the design and shaping and the unique artist fascination, individuation and proclivity of the designer. |
| Therefore, mosaic is widely used in hotel, public house, swimming pool, entertainment place, flat or curved |
| exterior and interior walls, craft projects, etc. |
| 3.Q:How they are different from each other? |
| A: There are kinds of mosaic in our site and we would like to briefly introduce them: |
I. Ordinary Glass Mosaic :
Also called old-type mosaic,
of glass medium, containing a little grit,

machine-cut, double-face machine-cut, it is made by
molding after glass being melt down. |
| Having several
dozens of color,it is widely used for exterior and
interior walls
decoration or craft projects. |
| II.Crystal glass mosaic:In China we call that crystal glass mosaic or crystal mosaic to distinguish it from |
| the odinary type of glass mosaic which usually costs much less in prices.
Crystal glass mosaic is made |
| by cutting flat glass, applying color graze on one
surface and firing in kiln by high temperature.
Being |
| smooth in surface,
transparent in body ,it has been widly used by people in decoration of bathroom |
| wall,swiming pool wall etc. |
| III. Stone Mosaic :it is made from natural
marble by cutting, burnishing, polishing, frosted
finishing, etc. |
| The colors and patterns are determined
by the stone medium itself with about several dozens
of color for |
| option by now. People use more marble but seldom granite because of their own characteristics as granite |
| is much harder than marble and it is easy to break.The stone/marble mosaic can be used in decoration |
| where antique style is needed. |
| IV. Metal Mosaic: the material can be stainless steel,
titanium alloy etc ,and the prices also differ. |
| The colors can be shinny silver ,misty silver,golden or other colors to the customers needs.The shapes can |

| V.Ceramic Tiles: the tiles is processed via ultra-high-temperature and the colors never fade.The speical |
| surface finish works to be anti-slippery .It is widely used in the floorings of washroom,bathroom and |
| shallow places of a swimming pool. |
| VI.Graite powder Tiles: it has the look of ceramic tiles,but is not ceramic tiles.It is made from the natural |
| granite powder via ceramic tiles's processing technique.The color of tiles is uniform and it is much easier |
| to cut than natural granite tiles. |
| VII.Shell Mosaic:we adopt natual shell of
Abalone
or pearl oyster to make the shell mosaic.The special |
| veins makes room luxurious and makes people feel that they were lliving in the subsea world. |
